Job Summary

Job Summary

Under supervision of an assigned Assistant Principal, to coordinate communications and information between school staff, parents, and Mandarin speaking community groups as assigned; to interpret school programs, problems, and objectives to parents; secure parent involvement in school activities; assist in multicultural activities of the school; to perform routine clerical duties, and to do related work as required.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Candidates are required to attach a recent driving record from DMV report to employment application. The Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) requires schools to be in compliance when hiring paraprofessionals for classroom instruction. The following requirement for this position is: • Graduation from High School or evidence of equivalent educational proficiency TRANSCRIPT VERIFICATION: Transcripts and degrees earned outside of the United States must be accompanied by a full evaluation report from a regionally accredited foreign credential evaluation agency.

All applications must be submitted with: 1) Copy of High School diploma or G.E.D., and 2) a recent driving record from DMV Note: Posting may close early if sufficient applications have been received.
