Job Summary

Job Summary

This is an on-call, intermittent position with limited hours throughout the year. Applicants should be aware that this position requires flexibility and availability when assignments arise and does not provide consistent or weekly hours. It is best suited for individuals seeking supplemental or occasional work, rather than regular part-time employment. Under general supervision, the position is responsible for listening to, understanding, and translating spoken or written statements from one language to another. Incumbents accurately reproduce statements in another language for a listening or reading audience. Languages needed: Ukrainian, Russian, Farsi, Arabic, Dari, Pashto, Hindi

Requirements / Qualifications

Applicants must submit the following: - A completed application, stating the language(s) in which the applicant is proficient in both verbal and written translation - Resume Note: Fingerprint clearance and TB clearance will be required upon hire as part of the onboarding process.
