Under the direction of the appropriate supervisor or administrator, the Classified Substitute provides temporary coverage for absent classified employees and performs the duties associated with the assigned position. Assignments may vary based on district needs and may include instructional support, student supervision, food service/lunchroom assistance, custodial services, office support, and other classified assignments. The Classified Substitute is expected to perform assigned duties in a professional, dependable, and safety-conscious manner while supporting the District's educational program and maintaining a positive environment for students and staff.
