Requirements / Qualifications

Possession of a valid and current First Aid Certificate, including CPR training.

Proof of High School Graduation, or higher education, CPR, Letters of Recommendation, Cover Letter, and Resume must be uploaded for consideration. - At least one reference letter must be from a current supervisor. - Proof of TB will be required upon employment offer.

Comments and Other Information

Under the supervision of the site administration, this position provides effective supervision of students before school, after school, and during recess and lunch. Supervision of students throughout the school campus includes, but is not limited to, the playground, cafeteria, hallways, student restrooms, school entry and exit points, the school bus zones, and provide supervision of children crossing the street within a marked crosswalk. Knowledge of general needs and behavior of children; knowledge of the English language; playground supervision; and safety principles. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with adults and children; ability to understand and carry out both oral and written directions; ability to maintain schedules providing for regular supervision of students as assigned; ability to work cooperatively with others; work outdoors in all types of weather. Equivalent to the completion of twelfth grade. One year paid or volunteer experience working with children in an educational or child care setting is highly desirable. Assignment Hours (3-hr Per Day/Split Shift): 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.; 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. (M, T, TH, F) 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.; 1:00 -2:30 p.m. (Wednesday) Or Assignment Hours (3-hr Per Day-Split Shift): 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.; 2:15 – 3:45 p.m. (M, T, TH, F) 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.; 1:00 -2:30 p.m. (Wednesday)
