Substitute Speech & Language Pathologist at Buena Park School District
Requirements / Qualifications
Candidate must have successfully completed their Clinical Fellowship (CF). Prefer valid CA credential authorizing service as a Speech & Language Specialist. Interns/Candidates working on a credential program authorizing SLP service and eligible for a CTC-issued Waiver will be considered in the event fully-credentialed candidates are not located/available. Under general direction of the school principal, to plan, organize, and provide diagnostic services and therapy for children with speech, hearing, and language disabilities; to demonstrate, teach, and instruct pupils in language and speech development processes; to perform diagnostic assessments in determining speech and language performance levels; to aid in the development of academic, social, behavioral, and other educational skill areas; and to do other related functions as required.
- Certificate Copy (Possession of an earned baccalaureate or higher degree from an accredited college or university with emphasis in speech and language disorders, psychology, linguistics, and language development.)
- Credential Copy (Valid CA credential authorizing service as a speech and hearing specialist)
- Letter of Introduction
- Letter(s) of Recommendation (Three current and signed letters of recommendation dated within the last year )
