About the Employer

The Goleta Union School District (GUSD) serves approximately 3,384 students in preschool through sixth grade across nine elementary schools. All schools offer transitional kindergarten and strong support services, including special education and mental health, in addition to after-school care at all nine schools supporting approximately 1,500 students. GUSD offers embedded programs to address specific needs of gifted students and English Learners across the district. Each school maintains a 1.0–1.5 full time positions to support intervention needs for all students. Cover for a Mild/mod Teacher 10/1 to Possible March. Long-Term Substitutes- Cover a teacher’s full assignment due to the teacher being on a long-term leave of absence. Beginning the 21st full day of the same assignment. This rate is retroactive to the first day of the assignment.
