Requirements / Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES: • High School Diploma or equivalent required, plus a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, or other similar field from an accredited college or university strongly preferred. Five or more years of increasingly responsible experience in this field may be substituted for an advance degree. • Knowledge and understanding of the federal and state regulations in regard to facilities planning and maintenance in a public school system. • Assist in daily operations of the department, and demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication techniques. • Strong interpersonal skills and marked relationship building character traits • Ability to work as a team member with staff, parents and community; effectively communicate with individuals of varied cultural and educational backgrounds; communicate in oral and written form.
