Under the general direction, the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Implementation collaborates, coordinates, facilitates with community, educational, and institutional partners to ensure cohesive partnerships, successful implementation of assigned programs and initiatives, and positive awareness of the organization and its work within the community and across partner organizations.
Requirements / Qualifications
•Education: Bachelor's degree from a (4) four-year accredited university. Master's degree in education, public administration, or a related field preferred. •Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience working on projects involving community engagement, partnership development, or program coordination, with at least (3) three of those years involving direct oversight and responsibility. Documents you wish to attach should be uploaded via EDJOIN by the filing deadline in order to be considered in the hiring process (pertains to current employees also). • Each candidate’s application papers and answers to the essay questions contained within the application will be thoroughly evaluated and ranked by a screening committee appointed by the Kern County Superintendent of Schools. Candidates achieving a rating of 70% or better will qualify to continue in the eligibility screening process.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
California Motor Vehicle operator's license which must be maintained for the duration of the assignment. Fingerprint clearance by both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice is a condition of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met. Must present verification of completion of Child Abuse Mandated Reporter training or obtain verification within six (6) weeks of hire and annually thereafter, as required by the California Child Abuse Neglect Reporting Act. This position is overtime exempt and has a probationary period of one year.
