Job Summary
Assist the principal at the elementary schools in planning, organizing, and directing the operations and instructional program at an elementary school; coordinate and administer assigned school programs and activities; supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel. This position supports special education services, ensuring inclusive practices and compliance with all legal requirements.

REQUIREMENTS
- A valid California Administrative Credential authorizing service as a school administrator at the TK-5th grade level and a teaching credential authorizing service at the elementary level, along with possession of a Master's Degree.
- Four years of classroom experience, including at least two years at the elementary school level.
- Valid driver's license (DO NOT ATTACH TO THIS APPLICATION).
- Strong knowledge of Special Education services. This position supports special education services, ensuring inclusive practices and compliance with all legal requirements.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
All employment offers are conditional, based upon the successful completion of the following: Fingerprint/background clearance and a tuberculosis clearance. A physical examination clearance is required for certain positions for the district. All candidates with a record of convictions must indicate such in the confidential/legal section of the application, which is attached to the job application. SELECTION PROCESS
The qualifications of each applicant will be evaluated in a multi-step process using specific criteria. The adopted criteria will be utilized during the application screening, interviewing and final decision-making process. After the application screening is completed, the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, the Director of Special Education, and the School Principal will determine which candidates to be interviewed. Interviews will be conducted in October and finalists may be invited to return for an additional interview with the Superintendent. The successful candidate will assume his/her position as soon thereafter as is mutually agreeable.
