The Maintenance Worker performs general building maintenance and repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, doors, and hardware. Additional responsibilities include: Completing and documenting assigned work orders Performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance Troubleshooting maintenance issues and reporting repairs that require an outside contractor Safely operating and maintaining tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment Maintaining clean and orderly work areas Assisting with campus event setups, tear-downs, and other Facilities projects Reporting maintenance, equipment, and safety concerns to the Assistant Director of Facilities Performing other duties as assigned The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. The position regularly requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing ladders and stairs, and lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds. Work may be performed indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and conditions. This is a full-time, non-exempt, 40-hour-per-week, 12-month position. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Salary Range: $20.00–$24.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
