Requirements / Qualifications

Experience: •Two years of successful experience as a high school Speech & Debate Coach or equivalent experience as a competitive speech and debate participant. Education: •Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade. CERTIFICATE/LICENSE/AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: •Possess and maintain a valid California Class C Driver's License. •Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, extended hours, and overnight travel. In order to provide students with these opportunities, FJUHSD understands that hiring interested, talented and qualified employees only enhances this experience. Candidates recommended by school sites for classified walk-on coaching or co-curricular assignment will be required to submit the following, along with completing the employment paperwork which will be disseminated in Human Resources. Human Resources will contact the coaching candidate to set up an appointment once the hiring request has been received from the campus. Coaches must then complete the following items:
