The Native Student Success & Services Advocate plays a vital role in supporting the academic achievement and overall success of Native American students within Chawanakee Unified School District. This position promotes educational equity, cultural understanding, and positive school engagement through relationship-building, advocacy, and collaboration with families, educators, and community partners. The Advocate helps ensure that Native students have meaningful access to educational opportunities that honor and reflect their cultural identity. This position works under the direction of the Chawanakee Unified School District Indian Education Committee (IEC) and the site principal. The Advocate contributes to the implementation of the district’s Indian Education Program and supports the goals and objectives identified by the IEC. Hours: 12 hours weekly or 48 hours monthly, flexible October 2026-December 2026
