Job Summary

Job Summary

This role will involve diapering and changing clothes as needed, providing behavioral and developmental support, as well as providing medical and physical care. The technician works with students to foster positive relationships, and provides assistance during routine and emergency situations such as first aid and CPR. This position may provide for the transportation of students in District vehicles (not a school bus) and perform related duties as assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications

-High school diploma or equivalent; AND -Earn an Associate’s degree; OR -Complete 60 semester hours of college coursework with a grade of “C” or higher. -One year or more of experience working with children in an organized setting is preferred.

-Ability to obtain Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification or equivalent certification approved by the Tulare County Office of Education. -Possession of or ability to obtain a First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate within the first six (6) months of employment. -Possession of and ability to maintain a valid California Driver’s License and valid auto insurance.
