Foresthill Union School District (FUSD) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SDC Teacher for a PreK–3rd Grade Special Day Class at Foresthill Elementary School. This role requires an educator who thrives in a highly specialized, intensive learning environment and is deeply committed to supporting young learners with complex academic, behavioral, and developmental needs. Experience and/or training in Early Childhood Education is preferred. Serving as both classroom teacher and primary case manager, the SDC Teacher designs and implements Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), manages multi-tiered behavior plans, coordinates with a talented and dedicated team of service providers, and leads an amazing team of paraeducators. Collaborating closely with families, the SDC Teacher sustains a safe, structured environment where every student receives tailored support and grows! Through targeted small-group and one-on-one intervention, the SDC Teacher helps each child build confidence, independence, emotional regulation, and foundational skills. Their ultimate goal is to ensure students succeed and thrive both in their specialized setting and during inclusion opportunities alongside peers.
