1. Performs diagnostic services. a. Evaluates students to determine suitability for speech services when requested by supervisor. 2. Provides consultative services. a. Consults with classroom teachers, other support services, family services and parents, as requested. b. Serves as a member of the Individual Educational Plan (I.E.P.) team. c. Attends Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) review meetings 3. Provides speech therapy services to students. a. Provides speech services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Plans (I.E.P.’s). b. Ensures that students’ behavioral programs are appropriately implemented during speech therapy sessions. c. Develops and maintains visual supports and AAC for students across their daily needs. 4. Develops written reports as needed. a. Completes treatment notes for assigned students on a daily basis. b. Completes I.E.P. updates as required by school districts within one month of due date. c. Completes quarterly progress reports. 5. Ensures professional growth of self and SEC professional staff. a. Participates in activities to increase professional knowledge and fulfill CEUs to maintain ASHA credential and SLPAB license. b. Shares new skills and knowledge with SEC professional staff by conducting in-services, disseminating printed materials, etc. at least two times per year. 6. Other duties as assigned. a.
