Job Summary
Under general supervision, provides instruction to individual or small groups of students with behavioral challenges in accordance with the prescribed course of instruction; observes, monitors and records student behavior and performance; assists teachers in maintaining student academic and attendance records; and performs related duties as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
Applications must be submitted with a copy of High School Diploma or G.E.D. AND college transcripts to be considered for this position. California Drives License required. The Every Child Succeeds Act requires applicants to meet the requirements of: - Graduation from High School or evidence of equivalent educational proficiency, and - Completion of two years of higher education (48 semester units) or possession of an Associate's or higher degree or - Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting instruction
TRANSCRIPT VERIFICATION: Transcripts and degrees earned outside of the United States must be accompanied by a full evaluation report from a regionally accredited foreign credential evaluation agency. Only one application is needed. POSTING MAY CLOSE AT ANYTIME.
