This recruitment will be used to form an eligibility list. The eligibility list will be active for a period of six months and will be utilized to fill current and future vacancies in this classification. Purpose Statement/s: Under general supervision by Workability Coordinator, assist in supervising classroom, playground, and community activities of students; present instructional material, under the Coordinator and/or teacher’s direction, to individual students or small groups; relieve Coordinator and/or teacher of routine clerical duties. The Job Coach class in the Workability program is distinguished by increased responsibilities and additional duties inherent in assisting with supervising students placed in job assignments throughout the community.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Experience: Successful interaction with children in a classroom or other structured setting, preferably students with disabilities. • Education: High School diploma or equivalent. A.A. degree is preferable, but will not be considered for preferential treatment in scoring.
