This posting is for a temporary assignment opportunity. Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) is seeking candidates to fill a temporary assignment for the Nutrition and Wellness Specialist position. There is currently one 6-month limited-term assignment. The position requires the incumbent to possess a valid certification as a Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). This position provides technical assistance, training, and support to Local Education Agencies (LEAs) and schools in Los Angeles County to develop, expand, implement, and evaluate health and wellness policies and practices that advances whole child health using the Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child (WSCC) model.
