Method Schools is dedicated to providing breakthrough educational tools and practices that deliver maximum results for all families. The Method educational program is made up of a combination of data-driven practices, independent online learning, group collaboration, one-on-one guidance with teachers. The instructional framework includes a flipped classroom model that incorporates Universal Design for Learning principles. Method Summit Academy (Summit) is a public school option for San Diego area students interested in specialized athletics training. Monday through Thursday, school operates on the Dehesa Elementary School campus while training is conducted off-site at various athletic training facilities. Fridays are considered flex school days in which identified students needing additional instructional support attend in person for half days. Summit operates as part of Method Schools and on the Dehesa Elementary School campus. The position of Summit teacher is an in-person position and serves as a key role in teaching students and monitoring their learning and academic progress. California Teaching Credential (Science-Biology) is required
