The Encinitas Educational Foundation (EEF) is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to support the Foundation’s financial operations and help maintain accurate, timely, and well-organized financial records. Working closely with the Executive Director, Treasurer, Finance Committee, and school-site representatives, the Bookkeeper will support bookkeeping and accounting functions, account reconciliations, accounts payable, financial reporting, corporate matching and restricted-fund tracking, and month- and year-end processes. This is a part-time position averaging approximately 10–15 hours per week, primarily office-based with hybrid flexibility. Regular in-person work is expected, including a minimum of one day per week in the EEF office, with additional in-person availability as needed for financial processing, meetings, and other organiz

The selection process will include application screening, a panel interview and practical performance task, and reference checks for finalist(s). Interviews and practical performance tasks are anticipated to be held during the week of October 19, 2026. Anticipated start date is November 2026.
The successful candidate will be required to complete applicable pre-employment clearances, including fingerprint/background clearance, and provide proof of a negative tuberculosis (TB) test prior to employment with EEF. Additional pre-employment requirements, if applicable, will be communicated as part of the conditional offer and clearance process.
