To support in the development of the students skills, knowledge, concepts, principles, appreciation and attitudes necessary to achieve personal educational, and/or vocational goals in order to function effectively within society. Class: Industrial Technology/Trades (Welding, Autobody Repair, Woodworking, Plumbing, Electrical, etc.) Modality: In-Person Location: Elmwood (Milpitas) Schedule: Teaching 8:00 AM to 10:45 AM & 1:00 PM to 3:45 PM (Paid Prep and unpaid lunch 10:45 AM to 1:00 PM (year round) Paid Hours: up to 31.25 hours a week Pay Range: $48.81 to $57.99

Job Qualifications: Experience and proficiency using technology and the internet for instructional purposes. Ability to work collaboratively as a member of an instructional team. Excellent interpersonal skills organizational skills, including ability to work effectively with culturally and linguistically diverse students and staff. Willingness and ability to comply with the school's policies, procedures, and mandates. Ability to perform basic attendance account and record-keeping tasks as required. Ability to fulfill compliance requirements. Ability to address the educational, career and personal goals of adult learners. ***Successful applicants must clear a Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Department background check. This position is based at the Santa Clara County Correctional Jail facility.
