The Encinitas Educational Foundation (EEF) is seeking a collaborative and experienced Executive Director to lead the Foundation’s operations, fundraising, community partnerships, and organizational development. Working closely with the Board of Directors, EUSD leadership, school communities, donors, and community partners, the Executive Director will help advance EEF’s mission of supporting educational programs and opportunities that enrich the student experience throughout the Encinitas Union School District. This is a part-time position averaging approximately 20 hours per week, primarily office-based with hybrid flexibility. Regular in-person work is expected, including a minimum of one day per week in the EEF office, along with attendance at EEF/EUSD meetings, school-site activities, and community events as needed. Some evening and weekend availability and local travel are required.

The selection process will include application screening, a panel interview and performance task, and reference checks for finalist(s). Interviews and performance tasks are anticipated to be held during the week of October 19, 2026. Anticipated start date is November 2026.
The successful candidate will be required to complete applicable pre-employment clearances, including fingerprint/background clearance, and provide proof of a negative tuberculosis (TB) test prior to employment with EEF. Additional pre-employment requirements, if applicable, will be communicated as part of the conditional offer and clearance process.
