The Reed Union School District (RUSD) is an elementary district serving the southern Marin communities of Belvedere, Tiburon, and a portion of east Corte Madera. Its three school sites are located in Tiburon: Reed School - PreKindergarten through second grade; Bel Aire School - grades 3, 4 and 5; and Del Mar Middle School - grades 6, 7 and 8. District enrollment is approximately 1,050 students, with class size averaging typically 23-24 students. RUSD students matriculate to Tamalpais Union High School District, as well as private schools in Marin County and San Francisco. Second Grade Teacher at Reed Elementary School. Full time, Long Term Substitute position- 12/01/26 - 6/11/27. Long Term Substitute daily pay rate: 1-10 consecutive days $240 11-20 consecutive days $280 21st day first step of teacher salary schedule, track B, step 1 = $432.78 Reed Elementary School serves PreK - 2nd grades. Reed Elementary School offers a nurturing climate for the primary age students in grades Pre-K-2nd. In addition to a full California standards-based academic program, there is a school-wide focus on developmentally appropriate activities, positive reinforcement, and integration of technology and art into the curriculum.

Requirements / Qualifications

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential CLAD/EL Authorization Applications will be considered if the following documents are attached: 1. An up-to-date copy of résumé 2. A current letter of recommendation (one from an immediate supervisor) or college placement papers with letters included. 3. Copies of your credential(s) 5. Copies of college/university transcripts (originals will be required only if hired) 4. A personal letter addressed to Dr. Kimberly McGrath, Superintendent, describing your: - Experience with students - Special talents and interests - Most significant event in your teaching/counseling/social work career - Long-term goals - Qualifications which will help us meet the District’s strategic goal of the “Vision of an RUSD Graduate”
