Instructional Aide Special Education One to One (6.75 hours per day) at Lone Pine Unified

Job Summary
Assists in instruction, supervision and training of individual or groups of special education students by performing a variety of instructional support activities. Provides specialized learning experiences for students in special day class and resource specialist programs; provides a variety of clerical and supportive tasks for instructional personnel and to perform other duties. Will also be transports student(s) to and from school.
Requirements / Qualifications
1)High School Diploma or equivalent 2) Two Years of college coursework or ability to meet the criteria for paraprofessionals through coursework or formal academic assessment in the areas of reading, writing and mathematics. 3) Held a valid California Class C Driver License for at least 5 years, or are at least 21 years of age and have held a valid CA Class C Driver's License for at least 3 years 3) Must be included in DMV "pull notice" Division which reflects driver history 4) CPR/First Aid Certificate 5) Department of Transportation (DOT) Pre-Employment Drug Screen. Addition to Van Driver Testing Pool (under CA Vehicle Code); required to submit to random drug and alcohol testing under the guidelines of the DOT Bus Driver Pool 6) DOT Physical required for pre-employment clearance, thereafter, every two years, or every one year if over age 65, or as required for medical issues
