Job Summary
The Associate Director of Teacher Residency owns the implementation and continuous improvement of KIPP NorCal’s teacher residency program, ensuring residents and mentor teachers receive the coaching, development, and support needed to grow into highly effective educators. This role serves as the primary instructional lead for the residency experience, partnering with school leaders, mentors, and Alder Graduate School of Education to develop a strong and diverse teacher pipeline for KIPP NorCal schools. In this role, you own a defined set of department Key Results and decide how to achieve them. You escalate trade-offs that require your Director’s authority.
