The job of “Paraprofessional – Special Education” is done for the purpose/s of assisting (under direct supervision) in the supervision and instruction of students enrolled in a special education curriculum, and assisting teachers with clerical duties.
Requirements / Qualifications
IN-House employees must fill out application and submit a letter of interest. Prior job related experience paid or volunteer with school age children. Knowledge of: • Appropriate policies, procedures, practices, laws, codes, etc. • Basic instructional/office equipment and materials • English in both written and verbal form • Intervention techniques for emergency situations • Problem solving techniques • Rules of grammar, punctuation and spelling • Basis technology skills desired. Copy of Transcript (48-semester units of Core Academic Studies, OR hold an Associates degree)
