DEFINITION Under general supervision of the Site Administrator, to perform a variety of supportive instructional activities, as well as behavior management, for students with an Individualized Educational Plan (IEP); and to do other related work as required. This position supports students with moderate to severe behavioral and/or attention needs in either a moderate/severe or general education classroom setting.
Requirements / Qualifications
Experience : -One year of paid or volunteer experience working with multi-age groups of children. Education : -High School Diploma or its equivalent. -Completed two years at an institution of higher education or obtained an associate’s or higher degree (or have met a rigorous standard of quality, and can demonstrate through a formal state or local assessment, knowledge of, and the ability to assist in instructing) -Prefer Standard First Aid card
