Job Summary
Under the direction of the Superintendent, the Director of Human Resources will plan, organize, direct, and manage the daily operations of the Human Resources Department including personnel recruitment and selection, staff evaluations, personnel record management systems, employee/employer relations and negotiations, legal consultation, and assist in the planning development and implementation of Board policies, administrative regulations, and strategies for achieving Academy goals and objectives.

In addition to completing the EdJoin application, applicants must submit the following: *Cover Letter *Resume *Three recent letters of recommendation dated within the last year *Copies of any and all credentials Education and Experience: *Valid California Administrative Credential required *Valid California Teaching Credential required *Master's degree or advanced study from an accredited college or university in the field of educational administration, personnel administration, or other closely related field required *Minimum of five (5) years of classroom teaching experience is required *Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Public Education Administration preferred, preferably in Human Resources *Experience in California charter school is highly preferred Position Type/Expected Work Hours: Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the "core" work hours of 7 AM to 4 PM. Work is generally performed during regular work hours, but may require extended and/or weekend hours for urgent issues or to meet established timeframes

Employee must be available during the core school hours and must work forty (40) hours each week to maintain full-time status. Work is generally performed during regular work hours and extended evenings and/or weekend hours for extra-curricular events, board meetings, special programs, school site operations, or urgent issues as needed. Willingness to attend and actively participate in school-related events outside of regular school hours.
