Job Summary
Under the supervision of the principal or designee, works with school site administration to implement the district’s prescribed education program for pupil(s) in the classroom.
Requirements / Qualifications
Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or higher including all courses necessary to meet State Credential requirements Appropriate credential for the grade level/subject CLAD or comparable certification Successful student teaching assignment with accredited college or university Bilingual Spanish / Hmong preferred One of the following: At least 24 units in early childhood education, or child development, or both Professional experience in a classroom setting with preschool age children that is comparable to the 24 units of education described above A child development teacher permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) Experience Successful student teaching assignment with accredited college or university and/or two (2) years of successful full-time classroom teaching experience. Include required documents with application: Credential status / copy Transcripts May Include: Letter of Introduction Resume Letters of Recommendation
