Job Summary
Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the site Administrator, Assist classroom teachers with the preparation and execution of student academic interventions. Works beside teachers to supervise students, deliver leveled intervention through one on one, small group instruction and other methods designed to help students achieve grade level standards.
Requirements / Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. Must demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematics by completing at least 48 semester units of college coursework, possessing an Associate degree or higher, or successfully passing an approved proficiency examination. Experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred. Must possess effective communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively with students, teachers, and staff.
