Job Description: Victor Valley Christian School is seeking dedicated, dynamic, and faith-filled Substitute Teachers for both Elementary (K–6) and Secondary (7–12) grade levels. Substitute teachers are responsible for implementing daily lesson plans, maintaining a structured and safe classroom environment, and supporting the school's mission to provide a distinctively Christian, academically rigorous education. Key Responsibilities: -Follow lead teacher lesson plans, schedules, and classroom management procedures. -Maintain a safe, orderly, and Christ-centered classroom environment. -Perform student supervision duties (e.g., recess, lunch, dismissal) as assigned. -Communicate effectively with administration, staff, and parents when necessary. Qualifications & Requirements: -Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university preferred. -Credentials/Permits: Valid state credential or ACSI certification preferred -Faith Alignment: Active Christian faith with regular church involvement and agreement with VVCS’s Statement of Faith and mission. -Clearances: Must pass LiveScan background check/fingerprinting and TB risk assessment prior to employment.
