Job Summary

Provides simultaneous and consecutive oral translation/interpretation between English and the designated foreign language during a variety of District and school meetings, legal proceedings, hearings, and home visits to assist District personnel, outside agency representatives, students and parents. Translates complex and general written materials between English and the designated foreign language.

OPEN COMPETITIVE RECRUITMENT This position requires full proficiency in the Spanish and English languages (read, write, and speak). CURRENT VACANCY: One full-time position (8 hrs/day, 12 mos/yr) with full benefits in the Dual Immersion & English Learner Services Department at the Administration Center.
