Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Technology Services, provides technical assistance to users regarding the operations, updates and malfunctions of the district’s student information system. Performs a variety of technical duties involved in the maintenance, preparation, verification, extraction, analysis, reporting and submission of data files requested by local, state and/or federal reporting agencies. The Information Systems Analyst serves as the district’s technical resource of the student information system, providing assistance and oversight to users to ensure accurate data processing. The Information Systems Analyst is a technical position that requires application of a well-developed knowledge of the student information system. Advancement to this position is based on need and compliance with the requirements of the position, including the ability to conduct accurate database management and reporting.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education and Experience: • Associate’s degree in data processing, computer science or related technical field & • Two years of experience in database operations, including the collection, processing, analysis, and reporting of computerized data, and web design and maintenance. o Additional experience may be substituted for higher education on the basis of two years of experience for one year of college. Licenses and Certificates: • May require a valid California driver’s license.
