Metropolitan Education District (MetroED) is a regional provider of Career Technical Education (CTE) and Adult Education. As the largest organization of its kind in Santa Clara County, we are dedicated to offering career-oriented education to both high school and adult students. Annually, MetroED provides 2,600 diverse students with the skills to help them be productive, income-earning, and tax-paying contributors to Silicon Valley. MetroED collaborates with designated districts to provide comprehensive educational opportunities for adults and high school students. Through our Silicon Valley Career Technical Education program, we offer career technical education to high school students and, on a space-available basis, to adult students in the following districts: Campbell Union High School District, East Side Union High School District, Los Gatos-Saratoga Union High School District, Milpitas Unified School District, San Jose Unified School District, and Santa Clara Unified School District. Additionally, our Silicon Valley Adult Education provides courses for the San Jose Unified School District.

Job Summary

Works under general supervision of the assigned administrator within established policies, procedures, and safety practices. Duties are performed with reasonable independence, and guidance is provided for non-routine matters or new assignments. Assists administrative personnel in providing customer support to MetroED’s districts and community organizations regarding educational programs and services, including student recruitment, program liaison activities, and general support of unit or District programs.
