Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Superintendent or designee, the Resource Center Clerk provides routine clerical and administrative support to the assigned department and assists with daily operations. Responsibilities include providing courteous customer service, maintaining records, processing routine documents, answering phones, responding to inquiries, and performing general office duties. The Resource Center Clerk also assists with student check-in and check-out, monitors students in hallways and designated areas, and helps maintain a safe, orderly, and supportive environment. The position works collaboratively with staff to support efficient, student-centered operations and refers matters requiring specialized knowledge or administrative intervention to the appropriate staff member or supervisor. Perform a variety of clerical tasks at the Redlands Resource Center. Greet and assist students, families, staff, visitors, and the public. Answer calls, emails, and routine inquiries; direct questions as needed. Maintain student and departmental records and perform data entry. Assist with student check-in/check-out and monitor students in hallways and designated areas. Create and issue student ID cards. Prepare, file, copy, scan, and distribute documents and materials. Provide general clerical and administrative support. Follow procedures for safety, confidentiality, records, and customer service..
