Job Summary
Job Summary
Granite Peak charter school supports students in a non-site based, independent study public charter model in Calaveras, Tuolumne, Stanislaus, Amador, and San Joaquin counties. This is a full-time position which will include meeting students individually or in groups, in-person and/or virtually - depending on student need. In person meetings occur in public spaces (libraries/parks), and virtual meetings occur on Zoom. Travel to and in counties supported by our model may be involved to meet the individual needs of students/families, as well as to attend staff meetings. Educational Specialists will collaborate with General Education teachers, as well as a larger network of Program and Educational Specialist across our broader network of Pacific Charters schools.
Requirements / Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree with a valid California Teaching Credential authorizing service in learning handicapped, including English Learner authorization; preferred master's degree and/or post graduate course work. • Teaching experience at various grade levels with learning disabled students. • Able to travel with reliable transportation to various locations to accomplish objectives of this role.
