Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Clean and maintain classrooms, office, restrooms, common areas, and other school facilities. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, sanitize, and perform other routine cleaning duties. Empty trash and recycling containers and maintain appropriate disposal areas. Clean and maintain floors, windows, fixtures, furniture, and other surfaces. Monitor and replenish restroom and cleaning supplies as needed. Assist with maintaining a safe, orderly, and attractive campus.
Additional Duties
Report safety hazards, maintenance concerns, damage, or needed repairs to appropriate school personnel. Prepare rooms and facilities for school activities, meetings, and special events. Follow established procedures for the safe use, storage, and handling of cleaning products and equipment. Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in an organized and sanitary manner. Assist with campus set-up, take-down, and other operational needs as requested.

Sierra Foothill Charter School is seeking a dependable, conscientious, and service-oriented Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, welcoming, and well-functioning school environment for students, staff, families, and visitors. This position will be 32h/week, with flexible hours depending on the needs of the school and the availability of the successful candidate. Possibilities for more hours on a week-by-week basis. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, is a self-starter, is reliable and organized, works well independently, and enjoys contributing to a positive school community.
