The purpose of the Bus Attendant is to assist with maintaining order and safety among students while they wait at bus stops and while they are being transported to and from school.

Comments and Other Information

Experience working with school-age children. Skill is required to assist special needs students who may be physically challenged in getting on and off school buses and to assist them in recovering from falls while on the bus. Ability to maintain balance while standing and walking on a moving and stopping bus. Flexible to work split shifts. Position requires the ability to ride different bus routes with varying start and end times based on daily operational needs.
