Job Summary

Job Summary

The Mark West Union School District is located in Sonoma County, CA; about an hour north of San Francisco. We are a small, independent, TK - 8th school district which includes: John B. Riebli Charter Elementary, Mark West Elementary and San Miguel Charter Elementary. In addition to our three elementary schools, we also serve 7th and 8th grade students at Mark West Charter School. All of our school sites are within 1/4 mile of each other. The school district is at the heart of the Mark West/Larkfield/Wikiup community. One of the many things that makes the district so special is our deep connection to the community. The district's Board of Trustees and Leadership Team has consistently prioritized fiscal solvency while prioritizing programs in support of our students, staff and families. As the District's Chief Financial Officer and under the direct supervision of the Superintendent, the Chief Business Official (CBO) provides leadership and assumes overall managerial responsibilities for all business services and operations of the district including, planning, fiscal management, human resources, maintenance, operation and safety, nutrition services, purchasing, transportation, student attendance, grounds, risk management and the Information Technology department.
