Job Purpose Statement: Under general supervision of the Director of Information Technology, position is responsible for providing technical support for staff and students in a call center environment utilizing phone, email, and ticketing system; assists staff and students with setup, configuration and maintenance of technology, equipment and software; guides staff regarding the use of a broad range of products, offerings, and services; provides identification, prioritization, and resolution of problems following well-defined guidelines and procedures; performs backup of critical data files. Prepares progress reports for work performed; and operates audio-visual and related equipment. Job requirements – Qualifications • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. • Experience: One (1) year of professional experience in information technology support, help desk support, or providing technical support in a professional work environment. Experience in a school district or county office of education is preferred.
