Job Summary
The Human Resources Specialist provides confidential administrative, technical, and analytical support for Human Resources operations. This position assists with recruitment, employee records, HR systems, reporting, labor relations support, compensation studies, and process improvements. The role works closely with administrators, employees, and applicants while maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive personnel information
Requirements / Qualifications
-Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (bachelor's degree preferred) OR Four years of progressively responsible human resources experience, recruitment, personnel systems, data analysis, labor relations support, or related work. -Knowledge of HR practices, recruitment processes, HR systems, recordkeeping, and employment laws. -Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. -Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and work independently. -Valid California Driver's License and proof of insurability. -Successful fingerprint/background clearance and TB clearance - Two(2) Letters of Recommendation A completed Employment Application. Resumes are not accepted in-lieu of a completed application. QUALIFIED APPLICANTS WILL BE INVITED TO A FUTURE EXAMINATION A PASSING SCORE IS REQUIRED ON THE WRITTEN EXAMINATION.
