Hiring for the 2026–2027 School Year! Position Spanish Teacher Servite High School is seeking a passionate and mission-driven Spanish Teacher to inspire students through rigorous, engaging world-language instruction and to contribute to a strong, faith-centered language arts program. This is an excellent opportunity to help young men develop linguistic proficiency, cultural awareness, and global perspective while preparing them for college and beyond. Position Overview As a Spanish Teacher at Servite High School, the candidate will: -Teach five periods per day, with the ability to teach multiple levels of Spanish across the high school curriculum. -Design and deliver engaging lessons that emphasize interpersonal, interpretive, and presentational communication skills. -Support students in developing proficiency in reading, writing, listening, and speaking Spanish, while fostering appreciation for Hispanic cultures. -Collaborate with the World Languages Department and administration to align curriculum, assessments, and instructional practices. -Integrate Servite’s Catholic mission and values into classroom culture and instruction. -Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the broader life of the school community. Ideal Candidate We are looking for a candidate who: -Is passionate about teaching Spanish and helping students develop confidence as communicators and global learners. -Demonstrates strong content knowledge and the ability to teach a range of high school Spanish courses. -Is highly organized, student-centered, and skilled at engaging motivated learners. -Has prior teaching experience (preferred), including experience with honors and/or AP-level courses. -Embraces Servite’s Catholic identity and mission of forming young men of faith, character, and leadership.

The successful applicant will demonstrate an ability to embrace and understand the private Catholic school environment and be able to utilize this subject to form young men into faith filled leaders.

Requirements / Qualifications

Required: Candidate should hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Spanish, World Languages, or a related field. Preferred: A California Teaching Credential is preferred, but not required. Preferred: Experience teaching in a high school setting, including the ability to teach multiple levels of Spanish. Applications are reviewed upon receipt.
