Job Summary

Silver Valley Unified School District is seeking a highly organized and knowledgeable professional to serve as Coordinator, Risk and Fiscal Services. Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Administrative Services, this position coordinates the District’s risk management, employee benefits, workers’ compensation, insurance, and assigned fiscal services functions. The Coordinator also provides technical and analytical support related to budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, and other business operations while ensuring accurate records and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, District policies, and contractual requirements.

Requirements / Qualifications

Three (3) Letters of Recommendation: Used to provide insight into the applicant’s recent work performance, professionalism, and qualifications. Letters must be dated within the past two (2) years and include either a handwritten or electronic signature. Proof of High School Graduation or Equivalent: Required to verify that the applicant meets the minimum educational requirement. Acceptable documentation includes a high school diploma, transcript showing graduation, GED, or equivalent. Resume: Used to review the applicant’s education, employment history, skills, and relevant experience. Letter of Introduction: Provides applicants an opportunity to explain their interest in the position and highlight the qualifications, skills, and experience they would bring to the role. Experience and Education Four (4) years of responsible experience in Risk Management and/or Administrative Services. Bachelor’s degree in a related field is desirable. Ability to type 40 words per minute for data processing.
