Job Summary

The Adult Education Instructor at Hamilton Adult School provides instruction and support to students in an adult education setting. This position involves teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) and Citizenship, developing individualized learning plans, and monitoring student progress. This is a temporary, non-tenure position to cover a leave of absence. The position begins as soon as possible and is expected to conclude Dec. 2026. • Work Locations & FTE: Hamilton Adult School, ~.20 FTE, Part-Time • Courses: Citizenship - Monday & Friday 5:30pm to 8:30pm; ESL - Tues., Wed., Thurs., 9:00am - 12:00pm & 5:30pm - 8:30pm. • Position Start: ASAP • Salary: $35.90 per hour • No medical/dental/vision insurance Join a supportive and student-focused district committed to personalized learning and student success!

Requirements / Qualifications

Requirements: Valid CA Designated Subjects Adult Education Teaching Credential with authorization in English as a Second Language (ESL) or Adult Basic Education (ABE) OR a valid CA Multiple Subject or Single Subject Teaching Credential with an English Learner (EL) / CLAD Authorization Please apply through Edjoin.
