Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Director of Health Services, the Coordinator of Health Education implements the Tobacco Use Prevention Education (TUPE) Program, the Comprehensive Sexual Health Education (CSHE) Program and other Health Education Programs. This position manages the TUPE program and performs a variety of functions working with students, teachers, administrators and community agencies. The Coordinator of Health Education manages CSHE teacher curriculum training, compliance and related education programs. This position also provides content-specific support and resources, as well as delivers student health education aligned with the California Health Education Framework.

Requirements / Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in a health or social service-related major and any combination of training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties as described Experience in youth education, development, current alcohol and drug prevention education, mentoring, and experience working with at-risk youth
