Position Summary

The Montessori Teacher is responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that follows Montessori philosophy and methodology. The teacher guides students toward independence, self-discipline, and a lifelong love of learning while supporting each child’s academic, emotional, social, and physical development.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a Montessori classroom environment that is orderly, inviting, and conducive to independent learning.
• Implement Montessori curriculum and instructional practices aligned with students’ developmental needs.
• Observe and assess student progress regularly and maintain accurate records.
• Guide students individually and in small groups using hands-on Montessori materials.
• Foster independence, responsibility, critical thinking, and respect among students.
• Establish positive communication with parents regarding student growth and classroom activities.
• Collaborate with school staff and administration to support student success.
• Maintain classroom safety, cleanliness, and organization.
• Participate in professional development and school events as required.

Qualifications

• Montessori certification from an accredited Montessori training program preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or related field.
• Previous teaching experience preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for child-centered education and student development.

Position Summary

The Elementary School Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging instruction that supports students’ academic, social, and emotional development. The teacher creates a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and a strong foundation in core subject areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
• Teach core subjects including reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies.
• Assess student performance and provide timely feedback and support.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning needs.
• Maintain classroom discipline and encourage positive behavior.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and concerns.
• Participate in faculty meetings, school events, and professional development activities.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grading, and student records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards and subject-area objectives.
• Teach assigned subjects effectively using a variety of instructional methods.
• Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, tests, and projects.
• Establish and maintain a structured, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support students’ academic and emotional development during transitional middle school years.
• Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student performance and behavior.
• Collaborate with colleagues, counselors, and administration to support student success.

Qualifications
