Job Summary
The position of Nutritional Services Worker is done for the purpose(s) of providing support to the food service activities at assigned location with specific responsibilities for preparing and serving food items to students and/or school personnel; and maintaining food service facilities in a safe and sanitary condition. This position is distinguished from similar jobs by the following characteristics: Nutritional Services Worker is the entry level position in the nutrition services series. Incumbents in this position perform routine duties in food serving and clean up at a food production facility or other serving site.
Requirements / Qualifications
The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent. Requires a MEUSD Food Handlers Card authorizing incumbent to work in Child Nutrition programs at a school site and in contact with students.
