Job Summary
The Multiple Subject Teacher is employed by John Muir Charter School (JMCS) and is responsible for classroom instruction of youth participating in Conservation Corps North Bay (CCNB), Santa Rosa, CA. The teacher will work closely with the CCNB staff team to integrate the CCNB’s mission into the classroom. The Multiple Subject teacher will be responsible for assisting students in the CCNB program to complete their secondary education, and to provide necessary support services to enable participants to be successful. The teacher will assist with enrolling and assessing students to determine the proper course of study that will lead to a high school diploma and prepare them for successful continuation to post- secondary education. This teacher’s primary role will be to instruct students in Multiple Subjects.
Requirements / Qualifications
California teaching credential is required, or ability to acquire Provisional Intern or Short Term Staff Permit while working towards credential. Multiple Subject preferred, or Single Subject in one or more core subject areas. Authorization for Supporting English Language Learners required or ability to obtain an Emergency CLAD.

This is a split position between Santa Rosa Conservations Corp North Bay (CCNB) 3555 Airway Dr., Santa Rosa and Youth Connections1260 N Dutton Ave Ste 275, Santa Rosa. CCNB site on Friday's and Youth Connections Monday - Thursday, subject to change. There is some flexibility.
School hours and days are dependent on student work schedule with partnering agency, and students are
typically “in class” 3:30-4:30 M-Th and 9:00-3:30 Friday. Work hours when students are not in class are
devoted to instructional planning, grading work, and administrative duties as needed.
