Special Details: ? Site: Foothill Elementary ? Position: 2.0 hours – 6:00am – 8:00 am ? Monday - Friday ? Position is contingent on student participation. Salary: Schedule #165 - Step I - $18.37 hourly According to the CSEA Contract, district paid benefits not included with this position. Primary Functions: • Work with all staff in the planning, implementation and operation of the child care program. • Interact with children according to program policies and guidelines. • Involve children in conversation and activities. • Implement developmentally appropriate activities for children as directed by the teacher. • Set out toys and monitor playroom activities. • Assist students on specific skills as directed. • Assist in the preparation of teaching materials as directed. • Maintain a safe, healthy, clean and orderly environment. • Opening and Closing the Campus facility. Minimum Qualifications: Completion of one or more of the following for “Every Student Succeeds Act” (ESSA) Legislation 1) An AA or AS degree, or 48 semester college units, or Satisfactory completion of a “Every Student Succeeds Act” compliant assessment. Please provide sealed – official transcripts if you hold a degree or 48 or more units. 2) “Every Student Succeeds Act” assessment can be taken at Sierra Unified District Office-Call for appt. at (559) 855-3662. 3) There is a $7.00 fee to take the “Every Student Succeeds Act” exam and a $2.00 fee to retake the exam thereafter.
