Job Summary

The Yearbook Coach is responsible for guiding and supervising students in the planning, design, production, and completion of the school yearbook. The coach teaches students basic photography, writing, editing, interviewing, page design, and teamwork skills while ensuring deadlines are met.

Requirements / Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS: • Successful DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance • Current tuberculosis (TB) clearance

RESPONSIBILITIES: • Teach students basic photography, interviewing, writing, editing, and page-design skills • Assign and monitor student responsibilities • Coordinate photographs and gather information about school activities, events, clubs, and programs • Review yearbook content for accuracy, appropriate language, and compliance with district policies • Communicate with school staff, administrators, photographers, and the yearbook vendor • Maintain yearbook files, photographs, equipment, supplies, and production records • Obtain required approvals before submitting the yearbook for publication • Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for participating students • Attend required meetings, activities, and school functions • Perform other related duties as assigned
